The Guthrie Center’s inaugural chapter of the National Technical Honor Society induction ceremony was held on Monday, 2.27.2012 in the Spring Woods HS theater. Our honorees and their families witnessed the swearing-in of elected officers Virginia Pineda, Destiny Lewis, Jordan Jump and Paul Snow in a candlelight ceremony, followed by each inductee walking across the stage to receive congratulatory handshakes and their membership certificate. Following the event the attendees were treated to custom-made NTHS cake made by the Baking and Pastry class at Guthrie and punch.
Thanks to Linda Newnum and fellow sponsoring teachers Sonia Greiner, Patty Nilsson, Xavier Martinez, Erin Land and Jennifer Cardenas, Guthrie staff Nancy Wilkinson and Elva Saldivar and everyone else for setting up and creating a memorable evening.
